I've loved dogs my whole life and this one is a favorite of mine. This is Rose, my Rottweiler that started my professional pet portrait career. When I painted her in August 2008, I found my subject and in the next year painted over 60 dogs and some cats. I love painting dogs, they come in thousands of different styles. I doubt I will paint every breed out there but would love to see that happen. The dog owners I get to meet are the cream of the crop, all crazy about their dogs. Are you crazy about your dog?
